Starting February 1st, 2010 our free tax preparation through the New Haven Economic Security Coalition will be open for business!
Our VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) sites are open to the public, and individuals will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Call us at 203 777-1720 for more information.
Open Wednesday evening from 5:30-8, and on Saturday from 10-2.
You might know it as the Yale Police Department, or that giant glass building on Ashmun street. Taxes are being prepared in their computer lab on the above listed days. Thanks to the generous space and equipment donation of Yale University!

Located in the Hill section of New Haven, the Wilson branch of the library will be open as a VITA site for its third year. Thanks to the City of New Haven for the donation of the space! Free parking is available behind the building.

in the Fair Haven section of New Haven, the Spanish American Merchants Association (and Junta for Progressive Action) are long standing members of the coalition. Free parking available in the lot at the corner of Grand and Poplar St. English and Spanish speaking staff members are always available at this site.
